Furnace & City

Full guide

The Furnace gates almost everything: building levels, troop tiers and new features.

TL;DR Push the Furnace first. Build only the prerequisites its next level asks for, plus the Research Center and troop camps.

At a glance

  • Furnace first. Check what its next level requires and build that.
  • Then the Research Center and your troop camps.
  • Use your second queue for prerequisites, camps and the Embassy.
  • After Furnace 30, Fire Crystals take over. Bank them from events beforehand.

Heroes

Full guide

Gold-tier (Mythic) heroes release in generations as your state ages. Each generation adds an Infantry, Lancer and Marksman hero.

TL;DR Pick one main hero per troop type and invest deeply. Spreading shards across many heroes is the most common early mistake.

Core rules

  • One main Mythic per troop type: Infantry Lancer Marksman.
  • Build Jeronimo early. He’s the usual rally captain for years.
  • Joining a rally? Put Jessie (or Jasser) in the first slot.
  • Save shards when a new generation is close.

At a glance

  • Early: construction & research speed in Growth.
  • Economy when resources hold you back; Battle once you’re fighting.
  • Never let the queue sit idle; save research speedups for event days.

Chief Gear, Charms & Pets

Full guide

Long-term stat systems that separate whales from everyone else, but F2P can build them too.

TL;DR Raise Chief Gear evenly: set bonuses need 3 or 6 pieces of the same quality. Spread charms evenly. Pick pets for the skill you’ll use most.

At a glance

  • Chief Gear (Furnace 22): raise pieces evenly for the 3- and 6-piece set bonuses.
  • Charms (Furnace 25): spread upgrades evenly. Early levels are cheap.
  • Pets (Furnace 18): level one at a time, picked for the skill you use most.

Full guide
