Chief Gear

Six pieces of gear worn by your Chief. Each pair boosts one troop type’s attack and defense.

TL;DR Raise all six pieces within one quality tier of each other so the set bonuses stay on, prioritise your main troop type, and save upgrades for SvS.

Set bonuses

  • 3 pieces of the same quality add defense for all troop types. 6 pieces add attack for all troop types.
  • The bonuses grow with quality, and mixing tiers loses them, so keep every piece within one tier of the others.
  • In practice: bring all six to the next quality before pushing any single piece further.

Upgrade strategy

  • Prioritise the pair for the troop type you lean on. One guide suggests Infantry first, then Marksman, then Lancer.
  • Stockpile materials and upgrade in batches during SvS prep, where each Chief Gear score point is worth points on Power Boost day.
  • Crazy Joe and the Alliance Championship are your steady sources, so show up for both every week.
